Gränna is a picturesque location with steep cross-streets, old beautiful houses and magnificent gardens which provides its inhabitants with a clean and healthy environment with fantastic countryside close by. Gränna is well known for its peppermint candy (in Swedish called polkagrisar), the closeness to the beautiful island of Visingsö, and it’s many orchards. The town has a rich variety of restaurants and cafés.

Campus Gränna is situated in the centre of Gränna with modern teaching facilities within walking distance from student accommodation. The school is composed of several small wooden buildings, some of which date back to the 18th century. The buildings are surrounded by apple trees and climbing plants. Accommodation for students include separate rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms. Please note that the accommodation at Campus is for students only.

The cost of the programme includes half board. Lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant on campus. Breakfast and late meals can be prepared in the student residences. Meals off campus are generally not included in the fees.

Gränna is a very safe place to live, making it an ideal setting for international students adjusting to life in Sweden. The town’s small size and close-knit community contribute to a welcoming and secure environment where students can feel at ease both on and off campus. The calm atmosphere ensure that students can focus on their studies and enjoy daily life with peace of mind. A local health centre is conveniently located near the student accommodation, providing easy access to healthcare when needed.

Buses depart from Gränna to Jönköping every half hour and it takes approximately 40-60 minutes to travel between the locations. Once a week, classes will be scheduled at the University in Jönköping to give students in the pathway programme the possibility of meeting other students and acquainting themselves with the city and Jönköping University campus.
