Why Choose a Pathway Programme at JU?
Our Pathway Programmes are the best way to prepare for your university degree in Sweden. You can apply if you need better skills in areas like English or High School Mathematics. We help you reach the level you need to start your degree and achieve your full academic potential.
Pre-assessment and a Guaranteed Place for Your Degree
When you apply for a follow-up degree with your Pathway application, your degree application will be pre-assessed. This means you secure a guaranteed place on your pre-selected Bachelor's or Master's degree at Jönköping University (JU), giving you certainty about your study plans from the very start.
The requirement to confirm your place is simple: successfully complete all required courses in your specific Pathway Programme. This includes reaching the necessary English level and successfully completing any academic subject courses (like Mathematics or Science) required for your degree entry. When you successfully finish the Pathway, you'll receive a Pathway Certificate. This certificate acts as your official language proof, matching the IELTS 6.5 level (the same level as the Swedish upper secondary course English 6).
Important Note: The guaranteed place applies only if you have successfully completed your Pathway Programme and met all other academic eligibility requirements for your specific degree programme. You must meet all entry requirements to be fully admitted.
