This week, the Institute of Gerontology at the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University is organising a course for approximately ten women's shelters in Sweden. The professional development course is about older people's vulnerability to violence in close relationships. This is the first time the course is held at the School of Health and Welfare.

Master's students from JU received diplomas in the Blue Hall
Every year, the Swedish Institute (SI) organises a diploma ceremony for scholarship holders of the Global Professional Scholarship programme. On 27 May this year, 310 scholars from 41 countries received a diploma to mark the completion of their studies in Sweden. Two master's students from Jönköping University (JU) participated in the ceremony in the Blue Hall at Stockholm City Hall.
