Bibliometrics
Bibliometrics basically refers to the quantitative study of formal scientific communication. The research material consists mostly of research publications.
Bibliometric methods are primarily used to describe research structures on the national, regional or institutional level, and to make comparisons between different publishing units with regard to the impact of research.
The library team for research support can help with simpler bibliometric analyses. We can also provide lectures or instruction concerning bibliometrics and bibliometric tools for subject and journal analysis.
