Foundation Governing Board

Anders Danielsson was governor of Västra Götaland County between September 2017 and November 2021. Danielsson has previously been director general of the Security Police, director general of the Swedish Migration Board, secretary general of the Swedish Red Cross and county police chief at the Swedish Police Authority in Skåne County. Danielsson is a court-qualified lawyer.

Søren E. Frandsen is Director for the Research & Innovation Organisation at University of Southern Denmark (SDU). He is also chairman of the board at Science Ventures Denmark. He has previously held the position as Prorektor at Aarhus University.

Annie Lööf has been party leader and chair of the board of the Centre Party 2011-2023, Sweden's Minister for Enterprise and Head of Ministry 2011-2014, as well as Member of Parliament for Jönköping County 2006-2023. Today she is currently self-employed and mainly works with counselling and lecturing and has assignments on the boards of GreenIron AB, byWit AB and Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby AB. Annie has a law degree from Lund University with a specialization in criminal and procedural law.
Annie has previously been a member of the Foundation Governing Board in 2010-2011, but had to end the assignment when she became Minister for Enterprise.

Mats Eriksson is a professor in Nursing Science at the School of Health Sciences at Örebro University and a Specialist Nurse in intensive care. He is the leader of the research environment FAMN (The Child, the Family, the Caring system, the Society) and leader of the research group PEARL - Pain in Early Life.

Mats Eriksson is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain - Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood and a scientific advisor in the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants.

Maria Jarl has been a senior lecturer in educational science since 2012, Department of Education and Special Education at the University of Gothenburg. Maria Jarl received her doctorate in political science at the University of Gothenburg in 2004 and has previously worked as a research assistant 2007–2010 at the Department of Political Science there. Maria Jarl has held a large number of management assignments, including chair of the National Teacher Education Convention and the Teacher Education Board at the University of Gothenburg, member of SUHF's expert group for teacher education, and several review assignments concerning quality in education.

Johan Simonsson works as Director of Research & Development Warehouse at Toyota Material Handling and has previously held several leading positions within Husqvarna Group, AB Volvo, and Scania.

Johan has a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and received his doctorate in Business Model Innovation and Platforms in Digital Servitization at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology . He also holds a Master of Science, eBusiness Systems and Technologies from Golden Gate University in California.

Karin has been CEO of Axelent AB Group since 2023, where she was previously marketing director. Before that, Karin has been both marketing manager and education manager Bufab Group. She also has a board assignment in the Jönköping County Chamber of Commerce and has held other board assignments in different associations.

Lena has been Director General of the Swedish National Board of Trade, Secretary General of ICC Sweden (International Chamber of Commerce) and responsible for the EU budget at the Ministry of Finance. She is also a senior advisor to ICC Sweden, where she is also a member of the Trade and Investment Committee.

Kristina Säfsten is a teacher representative on the Foundation Governing Board at Jönköping University (JU). She is a Professor of Production Systems at the School of Engineering (JTH) at JU

Salem Seifeddine is Executive Vice President at Jönköping University. Salem is professor of materials and manufacturing.

Mikael Palmgren is chairman of Saco-S at Jönköping University. Mikael is a lecturer in mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Chemical Engineering at the School of Engineering at Jönköping University.

Eva Gipperth is the University Director at Jönköping University.
