Hanna Ståhl appointed Managing Director of University Services

Hanna Ståhl has been appointed the new Managing Director (MD) of University Services following a long recruitment process with many strong applicants. Hanna has been the interim MD since 1 October 2018. She will start in her position as MD on 1 April 2019.

“Hanna’s knowledge of the operations and activities at Jönköping University together with her understanding of our organisation and the challenges within the higher education sector makes her a great asset for the whole of JU. Hanna is competent, committed and development-oriented. Hanna has already made her mark on the operation and activities as the interim MD for University Services, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with her in the future,” says Agneta Marell, President of Jönköping University.

“During my time as interim MD, I began working to make changes within University Services and I am looking forward to continue this work. I am also grateful for being able to contribute to the development of University Services. I would also like to say thank you to everyone within JU who supported and welcomed me in my role as interim MD.” says Hanna Ståhl.

Hanna Ståhl comes from the role as MD of Jönköping University Enterprise, which operates from Campus Gränna. Under her leadership, Jönköping University Enterprise became a rapidly growing company at JU. Hanna was previously employed at Jönköping International Business School in various positions such as, Department Head, Academic Registrar, Vice Associate Dean of Education and Operations Manager. Hanna has also held the role as Director of International Operations at the President’s Office. Hanna was awarded an Executive MBA in September of 2018, from BI Norwegian Business School.
