Berith Hedberg and Daniel Pittino win the Pedagogical prize 2018
The recipients of the 2018 Pedagocial prize at Jönköping University have now been announced by the Board for Education and Postgraduate Education. The prize will be awarded at the Academic Ceremony on May 5th.
The committee's motivation for the choice of prize winners are as follows:
Daniel Pittino, Assistant Professor at Jönköping International Business School:
Daniel Pittino’s commitment and enthusiasm for student learning makes it a pleasure to collaborate with him in education development. In regular program evaluations with students, Daniel Pittiono is constantly highly appreciated also by the students. Creating a flourishing climate which stimulate learning and efforts, he has got everything a teacher should have. Daniel Pittino has shown a true and genuine love for his subject and has made big efforts to let the students learn in the most natural way possible about leadership.
Berith Hedberg, Senior Lecturer at the School of Health and Welfare:
Berith Hedberg manages the pedagogical development at the School of Health and Welfare with great professionalism. With a solid knowledge of the subject and a well-developed network of contacts, she has, in a targeted manner, together with the Educational Development Committee, inspired new, student-active learning methods such as Case Pedagogy and Active Learning Classroom. She has also exemplified the developmental work on Interprofessional Learning, IPL, which will be launched in the autumn term of 2018.
