Jönköping University educates specialist doctors
Next week, 35 future specialist physicians in geriatrics and primary care gather for three days at the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University. There they will attend a course on the highly topical subject Home care and care of frail older people.
The course is arranged at the request of the National Board of Health and Welfare and is directed towards physicians nationwide in Sweden. It is carried out as a collaboration between the Institute of Gerontology at the School of Health and Welfare and the Geriatric clinic at the county hospital Ryhov in Jönköping.
The content of the course is comprehensive and includes for example patient security, nutrition, the development of the home care and palliative care. It will be held 31 January to 2 February.
