JU LIVE kicked off with a lecture on violent radicalization
Marco Nilsson, Assistant Professor of Political Sciencein at the School of Education and Communication at Jönköping University, started the autumn semester's popular lecture series JU LIVE. Around 30 people listened attentively as Marco spoke about his research on violent radicalization.

On Wednesday, the Knowledge Foundation visited Jönköping University (JU) to see how JU builds strong research environments and to take part in JU’s various research projects.
“It was impressive to see the breadth of JU and all the research and education projects you have. Together we can shape the future and contribute to progress and innovation,” said Eva Schelin, CEO of the Knowledge Foundation.

At Jönköping University (JU), innovative and socially beneficial research happens on an ongoing basis. During the autumn semester, the popular lecture series JU LIVE will return, giving you the opportunity to learn about the university’s latest research projects. The series starts on 29 August and will consist of four lectures held in the beautiful university library. JU LIVE is free of charge and open to the public. All lectures are held in Swedish.

About 3,800 new students at Jönköping University
On 19 August about 3,800 new students started their studies at Jönköping University (JU). In order for them to get to know each other and get into the student life, Jönköping Student Union organizes a ten-day Kick-Off where the students sing, dance and have fun together on campus and other locations in Jönköping.Se big slideshow below.
