Mina forskningsintressen rör diskurs, ideologi och politisk makt i journalistik och andra medieformer. Tematiskt har jag närmat mig detta i studier av nyhetsmediers rapportering om droger, miljöfrågor och klassrelaterade frågor.
För närvarande arbetar jag inom forskningsprojektet Digitalt som Default? Äldre medborgare och välfärdens gränssnitt, som finansieras av Vetenskapsrådet (2023-2025). Projektet sker i samverkan med Malmö universitet, Linnéuniversitetet samt Lunds universitet.
Jag är med i styrgruppen för GeroNet, som är ett multidiciplinärt nätverk på JU med fokus på äldre och åldrande.
