The opportunities of ownership change

On February 19, JIBS researchers Leif Melin and Kajsa Haag will hold a lecture together with Christine Tid책sen from Linnaeus University at Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute.

Family businesses are the most common business model, but they come in all sizes, sectors and ages. When discussing family business, the focus is often on problems and conflicts, particularly in the context of generational change.

This lecture is about the family and what happens when one sees the change as an indirect and on-going living process. How can the company develop by family members of different generations working together?

The lecture is also about the importance of networks. How can interweaving employees, customers, suppliers, auditors and other external actors revitalize a family business during generational change?

The lecture is held in Swedish. It will be live broadcast via Bambuser.
