Grant received for study visit in Oxford

Zehra Sayed, doctoral candidate at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS), has received a Hedelius grant of SEK 94,000 from Handelsbanken to visit the Reuters Institute of Journalism Studies at University of Oxford to pursue her doctoral thesis work.

During her stay at Oxford, Zehra will be working together with Professor Robert Picard to complete her case study on knowledge transfer in transnational media organizations. She will also be interviewing representatives of Reuters involved in global training programs  for media practitioners.

Zehra Sayed is a doctoral student in the department of Entrepreneurship – Strategy – Organization – Leadership (ESOL) and the Media Management and Transformation Centre (MMTC) at JIBS.

The funding was granted on 10 December 2012 from Handelsbanken.
