Master thesis published as book

Diawoye Fofana, JIBS alumnus, is the author of a new book based on his master thesis.

The book, titled “Monetary Policy and the Global Financial Crisis: Case of the United States of America” provides an analysis of the Global financial Crisis and the actions taken by the Federal Reserve to combat it.

It later goes on to combine a theoretical analysis with an empirical study of the past financial crises and the present one in order to determine the implications of the global financial crisis on the U.S. Monetary Policy in the short and medium run.

Diawoye Fofana obtained a Master of Science in Business Economics with a major in Financial Economics from Jönköping International Business School in 2010. He also holds a BSc. in Finance from the University of Paris II-Panthéon Assas.
