Blues for two with 10 guitars
Staffan Hagberg and Anders Fennsjö are performing at Culture on Campus this Wednesday.
You might be familiar with the expression feeling blue? This melancholy feeling is just what the music genre blues tries to convey to the listener. The blues was formed in the Mississippi delta in the late 19th century and the genre hit a commercial breakthrough in 1920 with singer Mannie Smith and the song Crazy Blues.
For half an hour, Hagberg and Fennsjö will guide you through the emotions of blues. The musicians will use ten different guitars and will play songs that have had a strong influence on pop, jazz, rock, big band music and gospel.
