Foundation courses at Jönköping University

- Jönköping University is one of the universities in Sweden that have been most successful in the recruitment of international students from outside of Europe. Now we take the next step to be the first in Sweden with a centre for foundation courses for international students, says President Anita Hansbo.

A centre for foundation courses at Jönköping University will offer preparatory education for international prospective students for studies at Bachelor’s or Master’s levels. The programmes can be for example one year programmes in English studies or other skills that are essential for higher education,

- This is a new project that goes hand in hand with the University's vision of an international university. This is a completely new way for Jönköping University to offer education, and the courses will not compete with the university's regular programmes, says Hanna Ståhl, Project Manager.
