MMTC welcomes Visiting Research Fellow Guillaume Dumont
Guillaume Dumont will be visiting MMTC for three months during April - June 2016 on the MMTC Visiting Scholar Fellowship Program.
As a social and cultural anthropologist, Dumont focuses on the research about the transformation of work and labor in the creative economy. His research aims to contribute to the development of knowledge about self-employment, the organization of labor markets, and the changing nature of work in the context of the digital age.
He has been working as a Research Scholar at Colorado University, Boulder, and as a Visiting Researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute of the Open University of Catalonia.
Guillaume is from Belgium and holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Autonomous University of Madrid and a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology and Sport Sciences from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in France.
