MMTC former Ph.D. Candidate Dr. Sara Ekberg has been awarded “Oskar Sillén-priset” (Oskar Sillén prize) and “Best dissertation in Business Administration in Sweden 2017”.
The ceremony was held on December 12, 2018, at KPMG’s headquarter in Stockholm. During the ceremony Sara held a presentation about her dissertation and received the award including a stipend of 30000 kr.

Workshop on the value of online communities for SMEs
On Friday, December 7, Phd candidate from MMTC Thomas Cyron held a workshop on the topic of how small and medium-sized businesses can benefit from online communities. About 25 people from companies in the region participated.

Cooperation between MMTC Researchers, Moscow State University (MSU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) in sustainability project.
Earlier this Fall, MMTC member Olof Brunninge was granted funding from the Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Cooperation for a sustainability project including colleagues from Moscow State University (MSU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). The purpose of the project is to familiarize faculty and students with contextual differences managers face while working with sustainability management.

Marianne och Marcus Wallenberg Stiftelse - Research funding received by MMTC researchers
MMTC researchers Leona Achtenhagen and Norbert Steigenberger received 3.6 mln SEK from the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation for their project ‘Reaping the benefits of digitalization for stakeholder management: Making open stakeholder management work’. This project will play an important role in strengthening the theme of digitalization within MMTC’s new strategic direction.
