Large student conference in France
Around 200 participants from all over Europe, the majority of whom were students, recently took part in a conference in Douai, France. The conference was organised by the EULiST alliance with a focus on building a new generation of sustainable areas within European higher education. Around 20 people from Jönköping University (JU) took part.

All packed and ready for Australia
The solar car, built by students at Jönköping University (JU), is now on its way to Australia and the World Solar Challenge. On Tuesday 8 July, it was loaded onto a truck that will take it to Copenhagen from where it will be flown to Adelaide and the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.“It feels very good now, we have everything planned and we are ready”, says Gabriel Danielsson in the JU Solar Team.See the film where Gabriel tells more.

Cultural exchange, company visits and new friends at JU summer school
Around 40 international students took part in the JU Summer School at Jönköping University in June. They attended courses at the School of Engineering, visited companies and learned more about Swedish traditions.

New summer school strengthens JU's internationalisation
Jönköping University (JU) recently welcomed around 40 students from The University of Nagano in Japan as part of a new international collaboration. For two weeks in June, the Japanese students took part in a summer school with a focus on sustainability, Swedish culture and business English.

JU Solar Team is aiming for gold in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia which takes place 24-31 August."We are a very good team and believe in our concept that focuses on innovation," says Matilda Svensson Duric, Team Manager for JU Solar Team.
