  • Hanna Ståhl appointed Managing Director of University Services


    Hanna Ståhl has been appointed the new Managing Director (MD) of University Services following a long recruitment process with many strong applicants. Hanna has been the interim MD since 1 October 2018. She will start in her position as MD on 1 April 2019.
  • JU – Elite Sports-friendly university


    Since 2015, Jönköping University is an Elite sports-friendly university. This means that elite athletes and women get more flexibility when it comes to lectures, study pace and exams. JU has 19 students who are in the program.
  • CoreHack - a 48 hour LAN- party at Campus Arena


    April 26-28, Campus Arena is transformed into Jönköping's second largest LAN-party. All students at JU are welcome.
  • Valuable review of Jönköping University’s quality assurance system


    The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) recently assessed Jönköping University’s quality assurance system. Jönköping University was commended for having created an ambitious university-wide system that provides the possibility of participation and the involvement of many parties in its quality work. However, UKÄ also noted that there are new elements that have not yet been fully tested, which makes it difficult to assess how fit-for-purpose and workable the system is.
  • MuDD2019 - Multilingualism, Diversity and Democracy


    MUDD2019, the international conference organised by the CCD network-based research group, will take place at the School of Education and Communication on 8-10 April 2019.
  • Jönköping University prepares for rowing championships


    This autumn, the European Universities Championships in Rowing will be coming to Jönköping. So far, 42 universities from 13 different countries have registered to compete. Jönköping University will not only be competing in the championships, but also playing a vital part in hosting this prestigious event.
